I checked into the Days Inn in Dubuque and was surprised by the lack of cleanliness in my room. The bathroom had grime and mold, which was quite off-putting. The shower felt unstable, making it a bit nerve-wracking to use. My neighbors were quite noisy, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. On the positive side, the front desk staff were friendly and made check-in a smooth process. I loved the location. it was very convenient to explore nearby attractions and restaurants. If the cleaning issues were addressed, my stay would have been much better.

Monks Kaffee Pub was a total gem nearby, with buzz-worthy bites that hit the spot after a day of exploring. The friendliness of the front desk staff made check-in a smooth sail, and I felt at home right away. Plus, the location was clutch—everything you need just a hop away!
Not gonna lie, the bathroom had a touch of grime that was off-putting. The shower experience felt like a risky balancing act, and those noisy neighbors kept me from catching some Z's.

Couples not for the faint of heart
The bar had live music and friendly bartenders that could whip up awesome drinks at a moment’s notice. The complimentary pulled pork sandwiches and potato salad made it feel like a party, not just a stay.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but honestly still acceptable for what we went through.

Comfortable beds and responsive staff. A bit noisy at night from neighbors.

missingWrote a review on Jun 07value for moneystaff support
Just a fine choice for a weekend pause in Dubuque with extraordinarily good value for money. The towels could have been fresher, but at least the staff didn't make a fuss about swapping them out. Consider double-checking your room type upon check-in.

missingWrote a review on May 11efficient check-inconvenient locationlack of extra beddingunfriendly staffaverage cleanliness
Check-in was efficient and staff provided clear information about the amenities. The hotel is conveniently located near many attractions, making it easy to explore the area. However, the room lacked extra bedding and a closet, which felt inadequate for a comfortable stay. The cleanliness was acceptable but didn’t wow us, and interactions with staff could have been friendlier, possibly due to the busy weekend atmosphere.
